Panoramic tour in Trondheim

Experience Trondheim from the heights around the city centre. The bus tour ends with a visit to Nidaros Cathedral.

After starting at your hotel, you'll be taken to the city's west side where the bus starts its climb up the hills above the city. On the way, you'll pass residential areas and the Sverresborg open-air museum before stopping at a lookout point for a panoramic view of the city. Here you can clearly see how the river Nidelven winds its way through the city centre.

Back on the bus, we head through the city centre before passing the Gløshaugen university campus on our way to Festingen. Here it's possible to see the city from a different angle from above before we return to Den Gamle Bybro where we leave the bus and walk the short distance to Nidaros Cathedral.

Here we get a tour of the magnificent cathedral. Nidaros Cathedral, Norway's national shrine, is a majestic Gothic cathedral in Trondheim, allegedly built over the tomb of St Olav. It has been a pilgrimage destination for houdreds of years, and is known for its unique architecture, impressive rose window and rich history.
