Matvandring i Trondheim

Now you can experience Trondheim as a food destination. We start in the area around Torvet. Here the group will hear the story behind our region's status as Norway's food platter, and the guide will talk about the specialities of the regions around the city and what is typical of each region.

We'll also visit historical sites linked to the food and drink traditions of Trondheim. Of course, we'll also pass by some of Trondheim's most famous landmarks, such as Nidaros Cathedral, the Old Town Bridge and the picturesque neighbourhood of Bakklandet.

On our way through the city, we stop at various eateries, where Norwegian food traditions are in focus through local ingredients and modern interpretation of food traditions. The group will also get to taste some Norwegian specialities along the way.
